The Foreign Office was opened in 2011 by Cindy Sebrell with the design direction of Jordan Kempain, who worked together at ITEM Creative Group. The Foreign Office’s first product was a line of teas inspired by travel and adventure, and Cindy and Jordan took the teas on the road to the Fancy Food Show and beyond. In 2015, Cindy revived The Foreign Office as a design and lifestyle blog dedicated to a Bohemian spirit that loves both travel and adventure as well as delicious food and drink and beautiful things at home.
Our inspiration comes from the sights, sounds, colors, and history of far-away (and not-so-far) places that create a unique experience of our global neighborhood. We hope to bring a global perspective to the interior design, food, and drinks that make everyday life magical.
